M10 x 1.00 Bleed Nipple HEL Stainless Steel
The HEL Performance bleed nipple has been manufactured in-house from high-quality Stainless Steel (303) and serves as a vital component in all automotive braking systems. A bleed nipple allows any old, new or contaminated brake fluid to be drained from the brake caliper, as well as any air that is trapped in the system. When components such as brake discs/rotors, pads or calipers are replaced, air can enter the system. Trapped air can cause a severe drop in brake fluid when the system is circulating, causing inconsistency and unreliability in the brake pedal/lever and ultimately, the performance.
It is incredibly important to ensure that your braking system is bled correctly as any contaminated fluid or air in the system will effect the consistency, reliability and performance of the brakes.
